Curbside Pick Up Only Beginning Dec. 21!

The Hanover Civic Centre will be closed to the public effective Dec. 21st. The library will transition back to curbside service until further notice. 

How it works:

Requesting items

• Request items using the library’s online Koha catalogue or by email or by phone 519-364-1420
• Don’t have an online account set up? Call or email us to help you
• See instructions on How to place holds on Koha

Not sure what to request? Ask us for a GRAB BAG. Let us know by phone or email what you want, for example 3 Western novels, books on garden design, or 5 Picture Books and we’ll pick a selection for you. 

Proof of Vaccination Certificates and other Printing Services

• Call for vaccine printing services
• Print your own documents online via Princh
• All prints can be picked up at a curbside pick up appointment
• Call us for help if needed

Arranging curbside pickup

Pickup sessions will take place at the Clocktower parking lot on weekdays. Morning and afternoon times will be offered. 

Pickup is by appointment only

• When your items are ready for pick-up, the library staff will contact you by phone or email and an appointment will be set up for contactless pick-up.
• Staff can make the appointment for you or you can make the appointment yourself using the online appointment system, which you may link to your calendar.
• Details as to the pick-up process will be provided when users are contacted.
• At the appointed pick-up time, physical distancing measures must be taken. Pick-up will take place outdoors on the east (clock tower) side of the building.

Returning borrowed items

• Returning items must be returned through the library drop box beside the West (10th Avenue) entrance only
• No returns will be accepted at the pick up appointment
