Dear Church,
Here are this week's prayer and requests/updates.

We are now aiming to remove any non-updated prayer requests after a month to ensure the list stays up to date. Please make sure you contact Ann with any updates. You can do that by emailing aslaidlaw237@btinternet.com Thank you

Prayer Requests/Updates:
  • Praise God that Jo is now home from hospital. Austin is doing well and looking bigger and healthier  each day. The doctors are trying him off the ventilator and they feeding him through a tube. Pray that he continues to put on weight and that all goes well with his feeds. He has an amazing team looking after him in NICU and Ed & Jo are very grateful for them. Please pray for protection for baby Austin and that he will thrive. Pray that Jo and Ed and the boys will feel God’s love for them as a family at this time
  • Alison and Ian would like to thank you for all the prayer support received during her father Ray’s illness and for all the kind messages of sympathy received following his death on Friday 17th December. Please continue to pray for Alison’s mum Sheila as she comes to terms with her loss and for the whole family at this time.
  • Pray for the Belsham family as they grieve
  • Debbie MacBean's dad is having surgery tomorrow to remove a cancerous lump. Thank God that scans last week showed no sign of cancer elsewhere. Please pray that the surgery goes well and that they don't find anything else. If all goes to plan he may not need any further treatment.
  • Chris has asked us to pray the following:
    • That he continues to gain strength.
    • That the pancreatitis doesn’t come back and that he remains pain free.
    • That he responds well to going back to his injections.
    • For peace and protection over his family.
  • Paul has his first follow up CT scan on 19th December. Please pray that this shows that his body is still free from cancer, following his year of operations and courses of chemotherapy.
  • Please pray that Steph Martin recovers well after her operation.
  • Jen Martin remains quite ill, please pray that she continues to recover from her long illness and that she is able to restart her studies in February.
  • Please continue with ongoing prayers for healing for Emma Riceand George.
  • Please pray for Chris and the vision he has for the church, pray also for Lucy as she supports him.
  • Please pray for the Elders as they continue to manage our church in very challenging times.
  • Please continue to pray that the chemotherapy Neil’s dad is receiving for prostate cancer continues to be effective against any growth.
  • Please continue praying for the health of Chris and Liz.
