In these final days of holiday shopping, we want to wish a safe and happy final week of the year to you and yours, preferably one that is restful and book-filled. Here are our hours for the upcoming days. Thank you so much for shopping with us, and shopping indie, this year. Despite supply chain woes and pandemic challenges, we sincerely hope we brought some knowledge, insight, comfort, and cheer to you through books this year.

One Last Time! Last-Minute Gifts

Yes, as the clock ticks ever closer to Christmas Day and the New Year, we do indeed have some quick last-minute gifts that you can take care of right here and now, via this email newsletter.

Gift memberships are available for our Signed First Edition Club. You may choose to give a membership for six months, one year, or indefinitely, and you may cancel the membership at any time. New signups will commence with our February selection, Lost & Found: A Memoir by Kathryn Schulz—"a masterpiece of metaphysical insight, at once richly lyrical and piercingly specific,” writes Andrew Solomon.
There's also our Signed New Voices in Fiction Club—these selections come arrive quarterly and gift memberships are available for one year or indefinitely. Each season we choose a debut work of fiction from an emerging writer; our latest is The Four Humors, in which a young Turkish-American, seeking treatment for a chronic headache, grows obsessed with a centuries-old theory of medicine.
You can't go wrong with a trusty gift card, and our shelves at harvard.com are browseable 24/7. Our online-only gift codes (not for use in-store, mind you) are quick and easy, and can be emailed directly to the recipients. Send a gift code in any amount (and you can even schedule it for future delivery)! Our online-only gift codes make a perfect (literally) last-minute gift.
If you’ve got a loved one who has a long commute, who needs a break from NPR, or who loves books but maybe doesn't have much reading time, give them the gift of audiobooks! We offer audiobook gift memberships through Libro.fm; you pick the membership (3, 6, or 12 months/credits), and your gift recipients get to choose their own audiobooks. It will take you less than two minutes to purchase your gift, and the only choice you have to make is whether to give it to them via email or printable gift certificate! Start shopping at Libro.fm.

Not in a Rush? Get 10% Off

And if you are not in a rush for Christmas gifts, we're running our online promotion for two more days. Save 10% with coupon code XMASCANWAIT on harvard.com through the end of the day on December 25th. Your order will be processed after December 25th. Thanks in advance! Find details and a few exclusions here.

Our Event Series

Browse our upcoming 2022 events, with many more announcements to come in the coming weeks. Events resume on January 6th with debut author Daphne Palasi Andreades and her novel Brown Girls. Emma Straub calls it “an irresistible chorus of remembrances, a lyrical ode to brown girlhood. It is also an ode to Queens, and the multiethnic first-person plural sounds like the borough itself, rich and varied and glorious. I absolutely loved this book.” Until then, you can view our video archive of past events. And see below for upcoming events that require tickets.
