Dancing Licence Plates
As we close the chapter on a difficult year, let's look ahead optimistically to a new year with (hopefully) more dancing. Sure, we'll still face some challenges, but with any luck we'll get more floor time in 2022 than we did last year! Also, we can look forward to reconnecting with old friends and attracting new dancers to the recreational activity we all enjoy.
There are lots of ways to attract new dancers and ways to connect with existing dancers. All of the strategies that have worked for us in the past are worth continuing. EOSARDA's Publicity Committee is working on new ideas to let others know how much fun dancing can be and how easy it is to get started. You'll be hearing about those ideas in the weeks to come.
One promotional idea that has been around for a number of years in Ontario is the dancer licence plate.

To help get square, round, and line dancing going again, consider getting a graphic licence plate to promote and advertise our activity. It’s one way to make dancing more visible. Those plates do get noticed (by both the general population and by other dancers) – they're a good way to strike up conversations!
Think about adding a dancer graphic to your licence plate. You can order a graphic licence plate at any ServiceOntario centre or you can combine a dancer graphic with a personalized licence plate.
Part of the $82.15 sale price of dancer licence plates is returned to the Ontario Square and Round Dance Federation to help promote square and round dancing in Ontario.
Consider getting a dancer graphic on the licence plate for your own vehicle. These licence plates also make a great gift for any dancer and are an excellent way to recognize or reward deserving members of your club who have done something special to contribute to dancing in your area.
