Art Appreciation: Unexpected Europe
Tuesdays, 6 to 8 pm
Instructor: Jan Hurndon, M.A. History and Culture, Union Institute and University
Free for Members!
Sometimes, unexpected discoveries can be the most rewarding. Join us as we explore (from the comfort and security of the Museum’s auditorium) some of Europe’s lesser known works of artwork. We’ll strike out to encounter oeuvres and their creators that don’t normally grab our attention or even their own chapter in art history texts. For each week of the class, we’ll visit a different country or region of Europe including Spain, Ireland, Russia, the Netherlands (and Flanders), Greece, and Norway.

As we continue our 55th anniversary exhibition season, we hope you will partake in all the Museum has to offer both in-person and virtually. If you're in a position to support us, please consider making a donation in any amount to help us keep the Museum going during this time of financial difficulties.
