January 20th, 2022

Editorial

Dear Friends,

We begin this edition of our newsletter with a new edition of the Year at a Glance 2021 document released by the GMFH publishing team. With an editorial by Rene van den Wijngaard the publication contains selection of Gut Microbiota for Health content from 2021.

Next up, Mary Ellen Sanders and Patrice Cani update what is known in the field and how next-generation probiotics and postbiotics might impact on clinical practice in the foreseeable future. You will also come across a new article about some of the breakthroughs in the role of the gut microbiome in maintaining health and helping to manage gut and immune-related diseases.

Finally, the countdown to the #GMFH2022 Summit has officially started! The 10th Gut Microbiota for Health World Summit will take place on March 12 and 13, 2022 in Washington D.C., USA. We look forward to seeing you there!

Happy reading!
