Peace be with you,

As we enter into our snowiest part of winter, remember that we will post any cancellations on the website Home page.  Also, all our Masses are livestreamed so if you aren’t comfortable driving in the snow, you can watch Mass from home. We are grateful to the town of North Reading for plowing the parking lot.  Please know that on snowy days, our lot might not be plowed right away, therefore, it might be very difficult to enter and exit, as well as unsafe to walk through.  Please consider this when deciding whether to attend Mass or watch on our livestream

This month, the Church is offering several ways to pray for children killed from abortion and to pray for the end to abortion. January 22 marks the 49th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade. At St. Theresa we will be having Holy Hour for Life on Tuesday, January 25, 9:45 to 10:45 AM. There is also a 9 Days for Life novena being prayed together across the United States beginning on January 19.

A reminder, we have all-day adoration every Friday in the chapel from 10 AM to 8 PM.  Part of all-day adoration is to assure someone is always present with Christ.  We have a sign-up for people to take an hour monthly, or as much as they can commit, to be with the Blessed Sacrament. We are looking for additional people to commit to coming to adoration.  Ideally, we would like to have two people present with our Lord.  If you would like to spend an hour with Jesus, call the parish office and talk to Teri, or email her at info@sttheresanreading.org.  Everyone is invited to Friday adoration at any time—even if you aren’t signed up.  We encourage you to stop by sometime and try spending an hour with Christ.

We are currently getting ready for Lent.  As you will see below, we have a couple of events on our calendar: Stations in Song and Live Stations of the Cross.  We are thrilled that With One Voice, back by popular demand, will lead the Stations in Song.  And Father Anda is organizing the Live Stations of the Cross. After the Living Nativity, we are anxious to see his Live Stations of the Cross. More information will be coming, but please save the dates.
We hope everyone stays safe and well in the upcoming weeks.  If you need anything, please let us know.

Blessings upon you and your family,
Bishop Mark, Father Anda, and staff

Led by Father Anda and Deacon Tam, we will pray together for respect for the dignity of human life from conception to natural death; for those who have been wounded by abortion; for those facing death; and for increased holiness in the Church.
