Greetings Maynard alumni, faculty and mentors!

As our closest supporters of the Maynard 200 Fellowship Program, you are the first to receive access to the new application for our upcoming 2022 program.

We are pleased to announce that we have developed a new track within our program for Frontline Editors and Managers. This new track joins our existing specializations of Media Entrepreneurship, Executive Leadership and Investigative Storytelling.

In addition to the high quality advanced training for mid-career journalists, each fellow will be matched with a mentor in their field upon completion of the program. This program continues to be a pillar in the Maynard Institute’s efforts to expand the diversity pipeline in news media and dismantle structural racism in newsrooms.

In 2022, we hope to convene the fellows for two in-person training weeks (adapting to COVID-19 safety precautions). These gatherings are tentatively scheduled for late June and late October. If necessary, the program will pivot to virtual sessions.
