We have many exciting events coming. Our top priority is the safety of our members and the community, therefore you may see some slight adjustments to our calendar year of events. Even with these changes, we anticipate being able to continue to support our community partners!

Join us for the January GMM
Tuesday, January 25 @6:30pm at the Marian Center
Mask wearing will be required and we will position ourselves around the room to practice safe distancing.
At the January GMM, we will be collecting non-perishable food items for Afghan Refugees relocating to the Westfield community. Please see the list of items needed, below. If you are unable to attend the GMM and would like to donate, please coordinate with a member of the E-Board.

Happy 2022! We are excited for a new year and new opportunities to serve the Greater Springfield community. The new JLGS bookshelf is officially up at the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round and we are so happy the kids are already enjoying the books! Thank you again to member Laura Wilson for building and installing the bookshelf! We are currently collecting food items for the Common Goods pantry at Westfield State to support Afghan refugees who have recently settled in the Westfield area. Please bring suggested items to the GMM or coordinate with a member of the E-Board for pick up!
Once again we will be doing Valentines for Veterans! Please provide me with Valentines day cards and candy (some sugar free please :) ) to be sent to Veterans at the VA Hospital in Leeds, MA. We will be mailing this due to Covid—so please have everything to me by February 6th!
As February quickly approaches, we will be starting up our Scholarship committee. Lauren Percy will head the committee this year, but we are looking for a co-chair to learn the ropes! Please reach out to Lauren for more information. Looking forward, April will bring lots of community opportunities in the form of our Centennial 5k and Help Our Kid's Fitting for the Future event!

Hello all! We have a few events coming up and we would love to have you and your family and friends there!
- Wednesday, March 2, all day will be our EBs fundraising event! Order in or take out at EBs restaurant in Agawam, MA, and we will receive a portion of proceeds!
If you are in need of finance hours, you will receive hours for attending either event and/or bringing guests. You can also earn hours by reaching out to vendors on our Bingo raffle spreadsheet. Reach out, by email or any other means, and earn a 1/2 hour of Finance hours for every $100 in donations secured (up to 2 hours max). See you at the GMM!

Our new member classes from this year and last are combining efforts to run a diaper drive to benefit Square One! Details TBD.
We hope that you'll join us at Orangetheory Fitness on January 30, and at Virtual Purse Bingo on February 25!
We are planning to announce a date to meet up for trivia at the Pizza Shoppe in the next couple of weeks.
