Free Learning Series "Little Kids, Big World" Featured at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum

BISMARCK, N.D. – Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to the free interactive learning series "Little Kids, Big World" at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. These interactive 30-minute programs introduce children to North Dakota’s fascinating history. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
 
"Little Kids, Big World" classes are offered in a large public space with social distancing considerations. Each child is provided with their own supplies. The programs are Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., unless noted otherwise. Children and their parents or guardians are asked to meet at the east entrance information desk.

Feb. 5 "Snowball Fight!" North Dakota gets a lot of snow. Join us for an indoor snowball fight!

Feb. 12 "All About Love." There is a lot to love in the State Museum! Explore some of the favorite exhibits and create a gift for someone you love.

Feb. 19 "Oh, No! Frozen Dinosaurs!" 2:30 and 3 p.m. We found some dinosaurs frozen by the North Dakota cold. Use science to help us decide how to unfreeze them.

"Little Kids, Big World" is led by Sarah Fox, who has teaching endorsements in STEM 1-8, middle school 5-8, and kindergarten, and has taught for more than 10 years.
