FREE KN95 MASKS TO RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES TO PROTECT AGAINST COVID 19 AS CASES SURGE
DRIGGS- The City of Driggs is taking extra precautions to keep our community and City Staff healthy during the national and local surge in COVID-19 cases. Our City Staff is working hard every day to maintain essential services and keep city business running smoothly. As part of the COVID-19 protocol for our employees, it is now required that masks be worn in City Offices and that all meetings with staff are by appointment only. This ensures that the number of people in City Hall is manageable and proper spacing can be maintained. See our Contact Page for information to connect with staff directly for scheduling appointments.
Residents and businesses can pick up free KN95 masks at City Hall. We encourage residents and businesses to take precautions. Current CDC Guidelines state:
Wear a mask
Everyone 2 years or older who is not fully vaccinated should wear a mask in indoor public places.
In general, you do not need to wear a mask in outdoor settings.
In areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases, consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities with close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
If you are fully vaccinated, to maximize protection and prevent possibly spreading COVID-19 to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
Any businesses that would like to display current recommendations can download and print the CITY OF DRIGGS COVID MASK RECOMMENDED SIGN. The City of Driggs encourages everyone to maintain a healthy lifestyle and take precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19.
