On New Year's Eve, I (Marcia) asked the Lord to give me a gift - to see someone step from death to life by beginning a relationship with Jesus. I realized it had been a while since I saw this life change happen, and I longed to see the Lord work in this way. 

Today, in the middle of a hole in the wall Mediterranean restaurant, my friend Ollie (a university student) accepted the gift of salvation from Jesus! 

I clearly presented the Gospel to her: 
1) God created humans to live in perfect unity with Him
2) But they sinned and were cast out from having a beautiful relationship with God - and all humans from then on had to pay the consequences of sin which is death and separation from God
3) BUT because God so loved the world, He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for our sins
4) If we have faith and accept the free gift of salvation from Christ, we will spend eternity with our God and the Holy Spirit will help us do good works and live a peace-filled and incredible life with God!

...And God took her from death to life in a few moments in prayer! 

Praise God with me that He answered my prayer so quickly, and that His saving grace is now upon my friend!
