Rad After School Scribblers - a Creative Writing Class
Starting Wednesday
Ages 13–17

Break out your muse and dive into discovering and refining your unique voice. We'll engage in a wide array of writing prompts, styles, and genres so you can find and explore what works for you. The class will begin with a four week run. Also with Ms. Renée.

 
Friday Night (after school) Lights: Musical Theatre Audition, Technique and Preparation
Four Fridays starting January 14
Ages 9–17
$50

Prepare a musical theatre audition- learn to sing in an ensemble, increase vocal range, gain confidence, and sing joyfully. This class is recommended for all levels and all kids interested in Musical Theatre. Instruction by Musical Director Linda Moyer.

A Cabin Fever Favorite~Introduction to Fly Tying

There is great satisfaction in catching a fish on a fly that you tied yourself. Designed for the novice fly-tyer, this four-week class will introduce equipment, materials, and types of flies. Participants will learn to tie fly patterns proven to be effective in Idaho’s waters. Discussion of basic entomology, reading the water, and how to get the hook out of your ear will be included. Class includes a fly-tying vise, hackle, pliers, scissors, bobbin, hair stacker, Uni-Thread, materials to tie six different flies, and Dennis’s favorite current book.

The City of McCall and McCall Public Library Board are seeking an artist or artist-team, 18 years or older and living within Idaho or one of its contiguous states, to work with designers and construction contractors to design, fabricate, and install artwork as a unique integrated or functional aspect of the upcoming 12,000 sq. ft.
