It just keeps coming! A friendly reminder: Don't park on city streets or in parking lots overnight so our plow crew can do their jobs. Also do not shovel snow onto the sidewalks. Let's keep kids and all pedestrians in mind during the winter months.
And keep an eye out for our winter wildlife- Do not approach or feed
the animals! #keepthemwild

Mayor Johnson awarding Seniors West of the Tetons Executive Director River Osborn with the BCIF Grant Check in December.
Mayor Hyrum Johnson was pleased to provide a challenge grant to Seniors West of the Tetons (SWOT) in December, for the amount of $2500, to help begin the new Seniors In-home Assistance Program for Driggs and Teton Valley residents. The funds are available to SWOT in a dollar-for-dollar match, effectively doubling every dollar raised for this program up to $2500. These funds are available as part of a grant to the City of Driggs from the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation, to promote community health, and reflect Mayor Johnson's dedication to developing programs and projects which will lead to positive health outcomes in our community. Other projects funded through this Grant include: New flashing pedestrian crossing signage at the Depot Avenue and Main Street intersection, and helping to fund the proposed Pickleball Courts in Driggs.
