Dear Friend,

As you peruse this month’s newsletter, you’ll notice two things right off the bat.

First, you’ll see that our generous funders are continuing to support our work in meaningful ways that enable us to deliver essential services and opportunities for the community. Second, you’ll notice that we’re growing from strength to strength as a result of that support.

Our residents’ services efforts build the foundations for community strength, and the Adult Leadership Institute we offer provides concrete tools and strategies for dialogue, advocacy and community building.

Our small business program continues to assist aspiring entrepreneurs not only with capital, but also with technical assistance to help identify needs and to provide solutions. We are helping area businesses adapt to the ever-changing environment in ways that promote stability and growth. And now, we’re bolstering our workforce development programs and services that create pathways to meaningful, living wage jobs.

Finally, our outstanding Dorchester Bay team is growing! Angie, Juan, Gerardo and Alex (see below) have all joined us within the past few weeks, and we are very excited to welcome them and to help them help us fulfill the mission to which we are all committed.

As we plunge into 2022, none of us has a crystal ball with which to see the future. We do know, however, that this will be a year of commitment, passion and effort.

Thanks to your support of Dorchester Bay, we are equally confident that this will be a year of achievement.

With best regards,
