More than usual this year, I've noticed people picking a word for 2022...
I've never been good about picking a single word. There are so many good words in the world, it's hard to pick just one. Words like resilience & forgiveness & magic. Or, if you're like me & love to make up your own word combinations, there's always ones like go-away-you're-bugging-me. HA...
The only words that I've found consistently walking beside me over my life are play & connection. Probably because I picked them so long ago as a way to live a life that I really haven't felt a need to pick any others...
Perhaps this is the real reason why listening deeper is something I often come back to. Listening opens me up to places I might play & the deeper part lets me find where there's an invitation that someone else might be offering...
Yeah. I guess I'm fine still with play & connection in the year to come & seeing who wants to play along...
