As I (Marcia) was preparing to host a table to promote Cru in the cafeteria of Sullivan University, a blizzard started brewing...
I laid out the goodies (Cru stickers, candies, "The Case for Christ" book) and then sat down and saw a total of 8 students over the next hour come into the cafeteria. Students were heading to their dorms and away from the campus that was closing!

Yet I prayed the Lord would connect me to 2 people during that hour, and He provided 3 new students for me to meet with!
The goal of a tabling event isn't simply to promote Cru (although we want every student to be invited to our Bible studies and events!) but to begin relationships with more students. We want to share the love of Christ with them and help each student know someone who truly knows Jesus. 

Sullivan is hard soil spiritually and relationally in many ways.
Yet there is a HUGE need for Jesus.

Even when our expectations are not met, God's plan is greater than the circumstances we encounter. 
Please pray for the 3 students who I met yesterday as well as the 3 students who faithfully showed up with me to help with the tabling event.
