Building Project Meetings & Vote
Pastor Brad has shared the vision of updating our facilities for the generations to come. We have this opportunity before us to share with them not only the message of the Gospel but a place to gather and worship.
Last January, the church formed a Building Project Committee to identify and prioritize a list of facility renovation needs. The committee now recommends a course of action that the church needs to vote on at the Quarterly Business Meeting on Sunday, January 30th. We, the FBNB Capital Campaign Ministry Team, ask our congregation to continue to pray for God’s direction for our church body. We believe Pastor Brad has communicated a vision for our church to “be a beacon of light for New Braunfels, between Austin and San Antonio, to reach souls for the Lord, disciple individuals, grow in our faith, while being obedient to our Lord God.”
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6
FBNB is approaching a milestone in our history. God is placing a challenge before us, and Satan is using every method possible to attack us. He is attacking our physical health and using our separation to cause depression and make us lose faith in our One True God! Yet God does not give us challenges that He has not already equipped us to overcome. Be strong! Have faith! Please join us as we seek the Lord to affirm His direction for FBNB!

Drivers Needed for Bus Ministry

|
Our bus ministry is in need of additional drivers to help homebound members worship in-person with their church family Sunday mornings. Pick them up in church vehicles for 9:30 small groups (or worship) and 11:00 worship, and take them home after the 11:00 service. Start time and route schedule will vary based on the pickup list, coordinated by Gib Watt. Current team members are serving one Sunday a month. FATHER SON CAMP

Calling fathers with sons ages 6-and-up! Come enjoy a night away at Highland Lakes Camp, where we focus on our call to lead our sons. We will enjoy the beautiful Highland Lakes Camp with fishing, archery, BB gun shooting, and a high ropes course. A BIG Thank You to every First Baptist volunteer bell ringer at the Red Kettles in 2021. Your presence was sorely needed this year as volunteers and funds collected by the Salvation Army to assist families with financial needs were down significantly city-wide.
