Whether you are an existing member, returning member, or simply a fan, we here at Passionate Ink want you to CELEBRATE! No matter how small the accomplishment, finding time to find joy is important to grow.
Looking back on our first year as an independent organization, we have accomplished so much in exciting ways!. Foremost is re-opening membership to ALL writers of passion. There are new offerings exclusive to members like the Writers Salon, and Author Chat; and we retained great annual events like our annual charity anthology and the Passionate Plume Contest, with an expanded list of entries.
Members get access to monthly Happy Hour and all new courses in 2022.
Before I close, I'd like to say this. I'm astounded by the growth I've witnessed around me. Whether it is in writing skills, career growth, mentoring, or membership, it is around us every day.

Meet your 2022 Passionate Ink Board
- President: Ashley Bostock
I love quotes, they are so empowering. One of my favorites is by Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t—you’re right!” It reminds me that I am in charge of a lot of things within my writing career, whether that be marketing or craft or the ability to commit to learning new things or releasing x number of books a year. I am in charge of my growth even if it’s sometimes out of my comfort zone.

This year, I recommitted to being the Vice-President because of all the potential I see in Passionate Ink. The growth that we have made as a chapter in the past year has been outstanding—we became an independent writers' organization, fostering community and professional growth in our membership. By concentrating our efforts on creating a membership-focused organization with a singular vision to provide what our members need or want to grow, Passionate Ink has become and will continue to be stronger and more impactful in the writing community as a whole. I'm incredibly honored to be part of this effort.

How it relates to growth: Have you ever seen a magic trick and have that spark of wonder that makes you ask how do they DO that? That wonder inspires you to try new things and opens your eyes to methods you didn’t know before. When I joined PI that was my moment of wonder. I’m grateful for that spark that has helped me grow.

MEMBER INTERVIEW | AINSLEY ST CLAIRE
Ainsley became a writer in traditional comic book legend fashion. She quotes her writing origin story as inspired by her law school nemesis. When not curtailed by villains or that which will remain NAMELESS (cough, cough — wait, that's a hint, DRAT) her alter ego as an American living in Vancouver Canada wears the capes of a professional little league spectator, and traveler.
To first-time writers she says, “The hardest book to write is your first one."
When asked about that imaginary parrot leaning over her shoulder, she says it squawks, “I can't see!"
She attributes her success to being able to write quickly. She advises to not get bored. "I make myself write every day 1,500 to 2,000 words even if it's crap." To date, she is best known for her Tech Billionaire series. She adores writing Romantic Suspense and is currently working on two series.

Take advantage of a special PI, members-only benefit and join us on the Passionate Ink Forum. Share your news, meet with the movers and shakers of the genre, pitch your work directly to editors and agents, view special chats with experts in the field, and help us keep our community vibrant.

Join PI's members-only Facebook group, Passionate Inkers. Hang out and chat with us, share your successes, frustrations, tips, and tricks, and get to know your chapter!
Volunteer for our chapter!
