On Wednesday evening, January 5th, Pastor Skyler Sikes introduced us to the revitalization effort taking place at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Clute.
DBC is fond of the revitalization movement among aging churches and we are glad to have the opportunity to encourage this congregation through our prayers and open the door for future partnership.
A love offering was taken up as a token of our affection and confidence that the Lord is blessing EBC in its kingdom efforts on this long road to revitalization.
For those interested, giving toward this offering will remain open through Sunday, January 9th, and will be presented to EBC at the first of the week.
