These bi-monthly gatherings are a great opportunity for Artistic Directors within the network to talk with one another, share ideas, and get support.

Beyond Understanding to Connecting
THE LISTENING CIRCLE welcomes all members to a special environment of connecting to what matters most to people in a group. One participant said, "It's a great way to resolve issues through reflecting back and resonating with people you might not see eye to eye with." As more choruses deepen their awareness and practices of equity, access and belonging, The Listening Circle offers a way to understand and hold differences without needing to console or fix anyone. It's like choral singing without the music.

July 22 - 24, 2022 in Cleveland, OH
Who will you be sending? It would be great to have two representatives from each member chorus. Attendees will have an opportunity to workshop the SSN commissioned piece by Ayo Awosika, tour the venues we'll be using for the 2023 SSN Choral Festival, and participate in decision-making for the network. Hosted by Windsong, Cleveland's Feminist Chorus!
