Will Your Church Obey God Or Man?
On January 8th, a new law went into effect in Canada, which demonstrates just how far western societies have gone to impose their progressive and godless agenda on their citizens.
Under this new law, Biblical teachings on sexual morality will be officially referred to as "myths" that "cause harm to society."
If that was not egregious enough, as a result of the law, it is now illegal and a jailable offense for Christians to share such "myths" about homosexuality and gender in the country.
Although Bill C-4 was met with no opposition from Canadian Conservative Party members, the same must not be said about Pastors whose preaching of the Gospel is directly threatened by the new law.
That is why Pastor John MacArther called on Christian leaders in Canada and the United States to stand in solidarity and defiance of this new law by dedicating their sermon to teaching on Biblical sexual morality on January 16th.
Governments need to be put on notice that the Church will not comply with censoring their pulpits, especially as our culture works desperately to lure people into godless and damaging lifestyles.
If the pulpits comply, they may escape man's consequences, but they won't escape God's. The blood of those lost will be on their hands for withholding critical information about sin and repentance.
Pulpits, are you willing to boldly stand up for Biblical truth on January 16th? Will you join the hundreds of other Pastors willing to stand at this critical time?
Pews, are you willing to bring this matter to the attention of your Pastor and ask him if he will participate in the teaching of Biblical Sexuality next Sunday?
As Canadian Christian Samuel Sey noted in his recent article, "Canada Isn’t Just A Post-Christian Nation—It’s An Anti-Christian Nation,":
"I am not afraid of what Canada will do to Christians. I’m afraid of what God will do to Canada. Canada isn’t just persecuting Christians, its persecuting Christ—and it won’t win. Please pray for Christians in Canada. Please pray for Canadian pastors and Biblical counsellors. And please pray for Canada."
