Grants will open at 9am Monday 7 February, and charitable organisations are invited to apply for funding.
If your charitable organisation supports the local Kingston community, you could be eligible for a grant!
About the program
The Kingston Charitable Fund is an initiative of Council in partnership with The Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation. It aims to support charitable organisations in the City of Kingston that meet community needs, make the community stronger and more connected, and complement Council’s activities in the community.
Applicants are encouraged to apply for an amount appropriate to their activity or program.
Eligibility
Charities with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and Tax Concession Charity (TCC) status are eligible.

Applications for grants are to be completed via the online system www.kingston.smartygrants.com.au
Applications open 9am Monday 7 February
Applications close 5pm Friday 18 March
Assessment
All applications will be assessed by the Kingston Charitable Fund Grants Panel comprising:
- Mayor Cr Steve Staikos
- Cr Georgina Oxley
- CEO Peter Bean
- a representative of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation
- two community representatives.
