RD38 MEETING SCHEDULE CHANGES STARTING FEBRUARY
Starting in February, the RD38 meetings will be shifting to a new time, but still on the First Wednesday of the month.  The meetings will begin at 4:30, with a cutoff max at 6:30.  The February, April, and June meetings of 2022 will be at the South Coastal Library meeting room (both sides), with Zoom as an option for those not choosing to attend in person.  The March and May meetings will be virtual only.  The staggered months and the new start time are driven by the limited availability of the Library room.
INDIAN RIVER SCHOOL DISTRICT – MASK MANDATE RESISTANCE
Ron Lewis reported, as follows: The next meeting of the Indian River School District Board of Education will be on Monday, January 24, 7:00 PM at Indian River High School.  Their plan is to take a vote at that time regarding whether or not they will follow the Governor’s School Mask Mandate for students and adults (when there are students in the building) if it is extended beyond the current expiration date of February 8.
