Climate change and your business
We are pleased to announce the Torquay Chamber of Commerce are working closely with the Heart of the South West Growth Hub regarding climate change and environmental issues and are planning a series of meetings at the Hampton by Hilton during February 2022.
The meetings will offer support, advice and practical tips on improving your business green credentials as well as planning your journey to net zero through the Heart of the South West’s SME support programme – Make it zero.
What actions you are taking?
Prior to the meetings, it would be most helpful if we could gather some information from you to help gauge the enthusiasm for the meetings.
Here at the Chamber we would like to ask our members about any actions they are already taking to play their part in helping to tackle climate change. Simple actions like reducing the amount of energy, water and waste you create are a great place to start for SMEs, and can help you save money.
Further events will be planned throughout 2022 to help shape how Torbay works together to tackle climate change locally so your input is extremely valued. For further tips on working towards net zero please visit the net zero website.
