4th ESP Europe Conference

The call for session proposals is NOW OPEN!
One of the aims of this conference is engaging with society and raising societal awareness on ecosystem services. Therefore we welcome alternative session formats such as discussion forums, world cafes, sessions in which media outputs are presented. Feel free to think out of the box and be creative by proposing alternative session formats. You can also propose a training class or workshop.
Deadline for session submissions: 15 April 2022.
At this stage the conference is planned as a physical event, with possibility to adapt to hybrid depending on the Covid situation. More information on this event coming soon!

Call for session proposals and abstracts REOPENED!
We welcome additional session proposals for the ESP Africa conference this June. You can find a list of the accepted sessions here.
You can submit an abstract to one of the existing sessions, or to the Open Topic session. Abstracts from the Open Topic session can later be moved to one of the new sessions if they fit with the topic.

3rd ESP Asia Conference
December 14-17 December 2021, Nagasaki, Japan (ONLINE ONLY)Eco-health and ecosystem services in Asia: Bottom-up aspects for planetary health
ESP Asia took place in December, in a fully virtual format. Although we regret not being able to meet in person, we are pleased to say this event brought together over 100 delegates from Asia and beyond, around the incredibly important and timely topic of planetary health. You can check out some of the proceedings on this page.
A notable output of the ESP Asia Forum is the preparation of an ECOSER Special Issue titled The role of ecosystem services in the relationship between ecosystem health and human wellbeing in Asia. The call for papers is open now!
