Join us to share the journey of a climate health advocacy group, Climate Health Now, who surprised themselves by coming to see strengthening democracy as an essential part of their work for 2022.
Cynthia Mahoney is a physician educator who taught at Stanford and  practiced nephrology in the East Bay San Francisco region.  Now she focuses on healing the climate health emergency.

She works with the Citizens Climate Lobby Health Team and is  group lead for the Contra Costa Chapter.  In 2019 Dr Mahoney helped to found Climate Health Now – a group of "doctors and health professionals in California who recognize climate change as the public health and equity emergency of our lifetimes; taking on the climate crisis to protect our patients and the people and places we love”.
