Calling all influencers. We have an opportunity for you to impact our families by sharing their stories.  
 
This family compound is a refuge for eight children who attend our Korah 1 and Korah 2 school program. These families previously lived in makeshift tarp homes next to the dump, and now they are blessed with access to water, electricity and a shared bathroom. The families have grown to love one another by sharing their gifts and talents. The mothers have started making baskets to help provide additional income for their family's expenses. Food prices and rent have increased significantly in Ethiopia, and the families living in extreme poverty are impacted the most.
We are blessed to have this compound for these families at a low monthly rent of $150 a month.  Will you partner with us with a monthly gift of $25, $50 or the full amount of $150?

 In July 2021, BTM and Hand in Hand rescued five vulnerable boys ages 11 - 16 from the streets of Addis Ababa.   Our sweet boys have gone through countless disappointments, hardships and trauma, but in this new season they have a sense of hope.  Our boys are on Christ redemptive journey of restoration. We are providing a full service home, which can be quite pricy. Will you partner with us on this journey?  We are in need of three sponsors at $55 a month.

Meet Solomon Mamo and his family.  His father died a few years ago, and he has taken over as the man of the house, helping his mother provide through working the Korah trash dump for recycled items.  This beautiful family is in desperate need of sponsorship!  Solomon currently attends our Korah 2 school program, which was opened last October.  His mother was hesitant to allow him the opportunity to attend school, because of his significant role in the family.  Solomon has done an excellent job in school, and he has not missed a day!

Meet Mekides and Kidus, their lives were forever changed when Mekides job ended at the Tsion Orphanage. She lovingly cared for Yonas, Abel, Ephrem, and Mentesinot, while living at the Tsion orphanage. In April 2021,  Hand in Hand agreed to start their first teen boys home. Mekides works diligently to provide food and shelter for her 13 year old son, but their life has drastically changed after the orphanage closed its doors.  Two sponsor at $20 will impact their future.

Meet sweet Aleka, she is a twelve years old living with her sister due to the death of her parents. She no longer attends our school program because she is the primary caregiver for her sister's children. We have seen this shy young lady blossom into a loving friend and excellent helper. Will you consider encouraging her with hope for the future? .

Wale is extremely loved by our staff and his nanny Buze!  In February 2020,  Wale tragically lost his brother Moges to death due to a prolonged health battle.  His story isn't over, in the midst of this heartbreaking trial he perseveres through education and heartwarming love toward the family God created with Buze, and three children who desperately needed a safe and loving home.

Meet Meti and Barsenet! 
Our staff is the lifeblood to our school programs and family sponsorship in Ethiopia. We are in need of multiple sponsors, supporting at $25 a month.  
Meti works with our Hand in Hand orphans by diligently encouraging the boys with life skills, trauma counseling, and educational help. Our staff is the hardest to get sponsored, because it's a long term commitment. But, we can't do this work without them!
