Maryland Homeowner Assistance Fund

Governor Larry Hogan announced the launch of the $248 million Maryland Homeowner Assistance Fund, which will be administered by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to support mortgage relief, home repairs, housing counseling, and legal services. Electric Car Charger Grant

The Maryland Department of Environment (MDE) is offering funding under the EVSE Program of the VW Settlement. The total available is $3.7 million. Two programs: 1) Electric Corridors Grant Program (ECGP) that funds public Level 3 fast chargers along corridors and in city HUB areas. 2) Charge Ahead Grant Program (CAGP) that funds Level 2 chargers at workplaces and some government-owned properties. MDE is accepting proposals through April 15th. See program detail here.
 

Business District Improvement and Facility Improvement Grants

$10 Million in community safety funding is available to Maryland's local Business districts and nonprofit organizations from Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). There are two separate grant opportunities: One is for community-wide business district improvements and the other is for facility improvements. Funding will encourage the implementation of crime prevention strategies through physical design improvements, operational activities, and community vigilance and maintenance. Details here.
 

Upper Shore Micro Agricultural Grant

Cecil County Office of Economic Development is now accepting applications for the Upper Shore Micro Agricultural Grant Program!  For more info and to apply visit www.usrcmd.org/agmicrogrant Cecil County businesses can go directly to our website, www.cecilcountyag.org to apply.
