Where do you meet God at Epiphany?

Last Sunday, 34 people came together on Zoom for worship on an icy morning. Additionally, there were 5 brave souls at the church. Fortunately, our celebrant and musician were on Zoom as there was a glitch with the sound system at the church (an issue with a new piece of sound equipment, since remedied). Each week is a new adventure for our faithful crew. We are in it together as we seek to stay connected to God and one another
in these unusual times.

Since you are reading this, you have a connection to this church and community. It would be wonderful if you could share what about Epiphany connects you with God? Click the button below to open an email and let us know where you meet God in (or through) our church. (If you wish your comment to be shared anonymously, simply say so and that request will be honored.) Epiphany has so much to offer and it's time to let other people know what our church can bring to their lives.

Where do you meet God at Epiphany?
All are warmly welcome to virtual worship at 11 AM!

Our online presence has improved immeasurably since the
beginning of the pandemic.
We hope you will give us another chance to show you;
it certainly is the next best thing to being there in person.
Tune in a few minutes early to see all of the announcements
and greet the other Zoomers.

If you are new to Zoom, be sure to download the Zoom software or app prior to the start of worship.

Lenten Study

Hello!  I have been looking for a book for Lent study, which could be in person and/or online. I came across this book:  We Shall All Be Changed: Questions for the post-pandemic church.  The book is a series of short essays that encourage conversation, discernment, awareness.
If you would like to be part of a conversation, please let me know. I can set up an evening or daytime Zoom, a small gathering in a comfortable place, or someone's home. A minimum group would be 5 - 6.  We can invite folks from nearby parishes, we can intermingle St. Peter's and Epiphany. We face the same challenges!
The book is $9.95 from churchpublishing.org.

(Also available from Amazon for $6.95.)
If you want to participate and need a copy of the book, let me know! blessings of anticipation!

Diocese of Bethlehem, For Our Common Life - Part 2 Is Tonight

A virtual formation series (part#2 Thursday, January 13, 7:00-8:45 pm) focused on issues of racial reconciliation and the calling of the Church and our diocese to strive for justice and peace among all people. This series was born of the work and study of the diocesan Racial Justice and Reconciliation Task Force and diocesan staff. We have worked together to create a series of guided interviews with authors and speakers from across the Church that will prompt group discussions and, hopefully, ministry in our congregations and action in our communities.  Any questions, email office@diobeth.org Introduction: https://diobeth.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/FOCL-INTRO-GLOSSARY-draft-2.pdf

A Verse for Today
God has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.

-2 Corinthians 5:19-20

A Prayer for Today

Loving God, please grant me peace of mind and calm my troubled heart. My soul is like a turbulent sea. I can't seem to find my balance so I stumble and worry constantly. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you've laid out for me. I trust your Love God, and know that you will heal this stress. Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of night. Please bring me clarity with the light of God.
In your name I pray,
