Submit Your Nomination by This Saturday, January 15

Who would you choose as opera’s person of the year? Or of the decade? Or of the past 50 years? Let us know by nominating an artist, administrator, or advocate for the Opera Hall of Fame.

It only takes a few minutes to nominate your picks for the Hall of Fame. All you need to do is fill out the form below, briefly explaining how they've made a meaningful impact on the opera field.

And don't assume your picks have already been nominated — make sure their names are in the running!

SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION
Nominations are due this Saturday, January 15.
If you missed our announcement about this year's Hall of Fame inductees, you can read about them here.
ABOUT THE HALL OF FAME

You can nominate a living American or Canadian who has:
  • Exhibited exceptional leadership and/or advocacy on behalf of an individual company or the entire industry.
  • Advanced the field through the creation, production, and performance of new works or works from the inherited repertoire.
  • Played an important role in the career development of future leaders and/or artists as a teacher or mentor.
  • Realized the full potential of unique opportunities or overcome obstacles to achieve their goals for opera.
  • Facilitated important projects and institutional progress through their generosity.
Honorees will be recognized in OPERA America’s National Opera Center, and their accomplishments will be documented on the OPERA America website. Their names will enter the Opera Hall of Fame alongside those formerly recognized through the NEA Opera Honors.
