POP-UP DISPLAY OF SHEENA CHAPMAN
 AND STUDENT'S QUILTS
Sheena Chapman is an exciting and prolific quilter. She has traded in antique and vintage quilts and in more recent years has specialised in taking inspiration from these vintage quilts to make contemporary heirlooms. Her style is exuberant, colourful and sometimes chaotic but you can't help feeling uplifted and excited when viewing Sheena's quilts. Sheena teaches at Berry Quilt & Co. once a month and many of her students from the last few years have generously offered to lend us their quilts for display over the weekend.

Come and visit and have a look at their wonderful creations. The display is viewable for a gold coin donation and will be open 10am-4pm for the full three days of the event Jan 21st to 23rd 2022 both outside our store and inside the Uniting Church Main Hall across the road. MEET SHEENA!  Sheena will be in the display and available to chat about her quits and her approach on Saturday 22nd Jan 11am - 3pm
QUILT EXHIBITIONS SOUTH COAST
Excitingly, we have two fabulous quilting exhibitions in our region available to see until the 13th February!  Just head on down to the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum in Huskisson. Click through here to find more details of the gallery's location and opening times. You can catch the Towards Abstraction: An Exhibition of Modern Quilts curated by Tara Glastonbury AND Elizabeth Dubbelde's One Red Thread: EmpowRED exhibition. They're both fabulous shows. One Red Thread showcasing smaller experimental stitch based works and Towards Abstraction shows off some exciting Modern Quilts in a fantastic gallery setting. Well worth the trip!
GENERAL CLASS INFORMATION 2022
Our regular program of classes returns in February. The next few newsletters will contain details of our 2022 program. Our regular teachers, Helen Draper, Jennifer Corkish, Sheena Chapman and Deborah Louie will return and we will have more opportunities for miscellaneous help sessions, beginner projects and By Annie bag making workshops.

Made sure you open up our next few newsletters if you're keen to come along to a class next year. We'd also love your suggestions if there's anything you're looking for in a class that we haven't offered. We're always happy to try new things. Just send a reply email.
MACHINE SERVICING RETURNS FEBRUARY
Hans & Roswitha from High Maintenance Machine servicing will return on Friday 25th Feb 2022 for same day machine servicing. The service costs $130 per machine. We take delivery of machines in the morning or day before and machines are returned same day. Hans can also do scissor sharpening at $10 a pair. We need 5 pairs to get Hans to bring the sharpening gear along.
These machine days usually book out quite quickly so if you want a service, phone to book in your machine in ASAP! The great thing about this system is that you don't have to leave your baby overnight if you don't want to AND you have the chance to meet with Hans and show him in person anything about your machine that needs a bit of trouble shooting.
