Valentine's Day Partner Thai Massage

Join us for a virtual workshop!
Sunday, February 13th, 4pm - 6pm

Celebrate your partner and yourself this Valentine's by stretching out, massaging, and relaxing with each other. We’ve collected our favorite simple and effective Thai massage techniques and stretches to offer you a full-body experience that basically anyone can give or receive. The techniques are easy to give, profound to receive, and rewarding to share with whomever may be your partner. To participate in this workshop you will need a partner of your choice, the ability to lunge and kneel on the floor, bear weight on your hands, roughly 7×7 floor space, and a yoga mat with a folded blanket on top (or however you wish to set up a cushioned massage nest).

Guided Meditation

Drop-in meditations will resume on Monday, January 24th.
No experience necessary.

January Health Topic:

~Intention~

As you look toward the year ahead and begin to set your goals and resolutions, take a moment to reflect on all that you have learned - and unlearned - in the past year. What would you like to carry forward with you into 2022? What would you like to leave behind? Give yourself space as we enter this new year in a situation of renewed uncertainty. Instead of focusing on outcomes and resolutions, try setting intentions and focusing on the journey.

~STUDENTS ONLY~

Mindful of Race: Embodiment through Movement, Breath, & Focused Attention

Join instructor, Abraham Dejene, for a 4-week series of mindfulness, movement, and discussion.

*These sessions are open to students identifying as BIPOC only*

Mondays, 7pm - 8pm
February 28 - March 28 (no class 3/14)
Mt. Auburn Room, Smith Campus Center 2nd Floor

Each session will focus on a particular topic explored through mindful practice. Topics include race relations, conscious communication, working with difficult emotions, and how perception influences our relationship to stressful events. Participants will also have time to share their experiences during the practice and talk about their daily mindfulness practice outside of class.

Want more information? Drop in for a meet and greet with Abe the week of February 14! Date and time TBD.
