LA’s key COVID-19 messages for schools 7 January

Temporary suspension of confirmatory PCR tests for positive lateral flow test results, urgent call for qualified teachers, changes to self -isolation rules and testing, vaccinations and updated Covid case notification form.

All maintained schools to check their NCA forms and all academies to send their DfE funding agreement by Friday 4 March.

Updated in line with recent government updates on face coverings, self-isolation periods, confirmatory PCR tests and travel to England.

COVID-19 confirmed case school notification reckoner updated

Reckoner for schools to notify the LA of any positive cases updated to reflect that positive individuals can now take lateral flow tests on day 6 and day 7 of their self-isolation period.
