Happy New Year! – from the Editor

Every picture tells a story. Paul Moxness, a long-term friend, recently recorded his thoughts on 2021 and his hopes for 2022. Top of his list was for a year of tolerance and curiosity. Hence the heart in the picture or maybe I just like the picture.

At CrisisVR we continue to serve a growing list of companies providing bespoke crisis management training courses. Clients benefit from the associated contingency planning and emergency exercises and from our Business Continuity programmes. In 2022, we will significantly expand our library of generic courses, open to anyone, no corporate account necessary.

What a year 2022 will be. Everything that lies ahead is new, it awaits our attention, our exploration and, yes, our curiosity.

Recent Crisis Management Training –
two ends of the training spectrum

December saw two completely different training experiences for CrisisVR. First was an online Crisis Communications course for a Group based in Dubai. Despite the trainers being in the UK, the practical media scenarios were delivered using VRLive (read more about VRLive here).

Meanwhile, Jerry Allen was doing what he loves best...
After what seemed an eternity of online training, Jerry was back in a full room of delegates for Go Team training. The client, a specialist aviation provider, were equally happy to finally have the opportunity to train together, debate together and have a coffee together.
At CrisisVR, we believe that optimum training benefit is best achieved by using a blended and flexible approach; matching the most suitable training type to the topic, size of the group and experience of the delegates.
