COVID-19 Restrictions at Level 3
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the SNB Marketing Board office has limited public access to the front entry of the building. With the province going to level 3 restrictions at midnight today, there will be even greater restrictions on many businesses such as gyms, spas, entertainment centers and restaurants. Retail and business establishments are required to limit capacity to 50% and encourage curbside pickup where possible.
For those owners and producers that prefer not to enter the office, SNB Marketing Board does offer direct deposit services. Clientele that prefer not to enter the office, but would still like to pick up payments, transportation certificates, or drop off documents, can call ahead (506-433-9877) and staff can place / pick up your documents between the two sets of doors at the front, main entrance.

International Vaccination Requirements for Truckers
It seems that the Canadian government was involved in some miscommunication this week concerning trucker vaccination requirements. Earlier in this week, Canadian Border Services Agency said that Canadian truckers returning from the US would be exempt from vaccination and quarantine requirements.
This was quickly reversed Thursday in a release, Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos along with the transport and public safety ministers said the CBSA statement from Wednesday evening was “provided in error,” and that Canadian truckers must be vaccinated if they want to avoid quarantine and a pre-arrival molecular test, starting this weekend.
Canada’s requirements take effect January 15, 2022, while the U.S. regulations take effect the following Saturday, January 22, 2022. See the story here.
