Dear <<First Name>>
Welcome everyone, to the first step of the new season at West Pymble FC and how you can be a Pymble player! We are looking forward to seeing many familiar faces and hopefully many new ones as we enter what is likely to be perhaps our biggest season, and with the construction of the Norman Griffiths Oval synthetic pitch due to commence in March.
We have some excellent news - season 2022 registrations open today and we are delighted to advise that we have been able to keep fees unchanged from the 2021 season. Some selective team fees are actually lower than last season.
As a not-for-profit club, one of our main objectives is to keep registration and playing fees as low as possible. Sponsorship greatly helps us to achieve this and we welcome members to make enquiries about becoming club sponsors. Please email sponsorship@wpfc.com.au if you would like to discuss sponsorship opportunities at the club which can give your business access to our nearly 1,000 registered players and 2,000+ members including parents of junior players.
We also are aware of the continued impacts from COVID-19 and other challenges in our daily lives. We would like to advise that we offer financial assistance packages that are applicable to Community and Selective teams for members who can demonstrate genuine financial hardship and require assistance to enable themselves, or family members, to pay fees to play football. These packages include financial support amounting to 50% or 100% of playing fees. To request assistance, please send an email outlining your situation to the club Registrar via registrar@wpfc.com.au as an initial step.
Finally, as places are limited, we recommend to register and pay early to secure your spot in one of our teams. Please note that WPFC policy requires all players to have registered and paid to be eligible for grading sessions, training sessions and trial games that take place ahead of the season commencing. Players will not be covered by insurance if they are not registered.
For junior teams, U6 and U7 age groups (boys + girls) will have their Welcome to Football Day on Sunday 6 March at our home ground Norman Griffiths Oval. For U8-U18 age groups (boys + girls), the Team Allocation and Grading Sessions will be on Sundays 13 and 20 February at Norman Griffiths Oval (players are required to attend both dates). Times for sessions by age group will be advised closer to these dates.
NOTE: Registration steps are found on our website at https://wpfc.com.au/registration and via PDF download. Please read all instructions prior to commencing the registration process. This includes guidance on how junior players can claim their $100 Active Kids Rebate when registered to play for the 2022 season.
Regards,
Kevin Johnson
