REMINDER: Our indoor worship continues to require all participants remain masked and observe social distancing throughout the worship service. Opportunites to socialize unmasked are available outdoors before and after the service.
HEADPHONES: We have new headphones available on Sunday mornings for the hearing impaired. Please speak to an usher if you would like headphones for the worship service.

SLO County Facial Covering Mandate
A Health Officer Order requiring facial coverings for all individuals in public indoor settings, regardless of vaccine status, remains in effect for SLO County. Please use the links below for more information about the mask mandate, testing locations, isolation & quarantine instructions, press releases, and more.
Thank you to all of our poinsettia sponsors this year. Please take home your flowers this week. Any plants left at the church will be placed in the memorial garden for pick up.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Volunteers from Mt. Carmel prepare and serve a hot lunch for The People's Kitchen program at 40 Prado on the first Friday of each month. Here is a list of our volunteers for Friday, January 7:
Entree - Dianne Draze; Maureen Dresp; Annette Martin; Karen Petersen; Nancy Priddy; Carol Winger; Judy Kirkhart Salad - Cheryl Garnsey; Jennifer Remington; Ingrid Frokjer Canned Fruit - Laurie Musiel; Betty Johnson Milk - Nancy Cook
Please contact Jan Uder if you are unable to serve this month, or if you would like information on volunteering in the future.
Gift cards are easy to purchase and easy to transport. All gift cards are presented to Pastor Esteban Salazar at Iglesia Santa Cruz. Pastor Salazar distributes the cards to different families each month, as needed.
Thrivent grants are always a blessing. Your Thrivent dollars are generally used to purchase items from the list above. Please contact Steve Bennett if you would like more information about Thrivent grants.
Matching Gifts Challenge Benefitting the SLO County Food Bank
The new donation site is up and running. Please click the link below for more information.
If you prefer to donate to the matching funds challenge by check, make your check out to the SLO County Food Bank. Write Mt. Carmel Matching Funds Drive on the memo line so that your donation will be properly credited. Mail to:
Food Bank Coalition of SLO County
1180 Kendall Road
San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
Please do not route your food bank donations through Mount Carmel. Doing so will delay your donation and make tracking the matching funds challenge donations difficult for the food bank.
Thank you to Mount Carmel for your always generous spirit!
We'd love to hear from you. Please call or email with your questions or comments.
