Happy New Year Film Lovers!

As another wild and challenging year comes to a close and we reflect upon 2021, there is much to be grateful for.  We managed to stay committed to our vision to provide our film community a world-class film experience and OIFF 2021 didn’t disappoint.  It ended up being a gem of a festival - what challenged us, made us stronger!

A YEAR IN REVIEW

We were able to create systems and protocols for the safest environment possible so that covid-19 fatigued film lovers could feel comfortable entering the theatre again.  Our new ticketing system with the ability to select seats in advance and our outdoor concessions tent and food truck were also huge hits.   We look forward to providing these services again in the future.

We featured 16 brand new films from 10 countries that brought us powerful stories from around the world.  And once again, we found ourselves sitting in the dark enjoying a cinematic journey that we all missed so much.  Many of our films will be academy award contenders for 2021. In fact 5 of our films were on the NY Times best films for 2021!  The repeat screening of “The Rescue,” was well attended and hungry film lovers came out of the theatre inspired and blown away by the films’ message of the unbelievable courage and teamwork that defied the impossible.

We thank all of you who attended and supported the festival and helped us bring Film back!  Our festival would not be possible without our donors, sponsors, and patron pass, regular pass, and ticket buyers and of course our volunteers!

If you appreciate the work we are doing in our community, please consider OIFF if
you are making last-minute donations for the year.   Your gift will help us continue our work to bring people together to experience the power of film which can inform, inspire, entertain and feed our souls.

We simply would not exist without financial support.   Thank you!!

We are a nonprofit 501(c) organization so your donation is tax-deductible.   You can mail us a check at the address below or use your credit card by clicking on the button below.

Here's to a healthy Happy New Year and our best to you in 2022.   We look forward to this new year with more year-round offerings including a classic film series hosted by Michael Yeaman, a spring Mini-Fest and our annual festival slated for October 6-10, 2022.

Cheers!
