Martin City Melodrama and Vaudeville Co. just opened its first LIVE show in 20 months and have included opportunities for actors with special needs both as volunteers and employees. Combing our senior rescue dogs with our uniquely abled performers truly make the spotlight accessible to all and the invisible visible.
In 2020 and 2021 we taught via zoom Circus Camp, Pirate Camp, Cowboy Camp, Outer Space Camp, and the 12 Zooms of Christmas to young actors with special needs as well as a workshop of More Lives, More Chairs! © about those who live in a wheelchair, walker, or any kind of chair that supports them.
We rescued three new senior dogs from Melissa’s Second Chances and lost two precious pups from Unleashed and Wayward Waifs. Our theatre has rescued up to thirty-six senior pups as of 2021. Many have traveled safely to the rainbow bridge. We can only continue our mission with your support. Thanks for everything you have contributed through ticket purchases and donations.
