Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break enjoying time with family and celebrating the birth of our Savior. We want to remind you to read through this and every edition of the Faith Footnotes. This is our primary means of communicating important information with our school families. We work hard to efficiently relay what you need to know, so please make it a priority to read through it. Previous editions can be found on the Parent Resources page of our website.

We have been advised that our handbook should have a more secure password and be updated annually. For the remainder of this school year, you will need to use the password "romans1017" to access the handbook through our website. We encourage you to look over the handbook again as we enter the second semester to make sure you are familiar with all of our policies and procedures. Students are invited to celebrate their citizenship by dressing in the colors of their home countries on Friday, January 14th.

Our basketball season is underway, and we are holding a fundraiser to replace the jerseys for our boys' teams. Now through January 28th, we are seeking $50 sponsorships for the 35 jerseys needed. You can submit your sponsorship in the office or at www.faith-christian.org/basketball. We really appreciate your help in getting the team ready for their new season!

Congratulations to the December Scrip Contest winner, Cindy Bruner! Cindy won a $25 gift card of her choice. To be eligible for January's contest, just purchase at least $100 worth of scrip products during the month. The next physical gift card order will be placed tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 4th. Orders placed by 7pm this evening at http://www.shopwithscrip.com using enrollment code 48A9697251L6 will be received by Friday, Jan. 7th.

Just a reminder that we have switched to Taco Bell as our hot lunch option on Tuesdays. Choices will be 2 Beef Tacos, A Cheese Quesadilla, or a Bean Burrito. You can learn more about our lunch program at www.faith-christian.org/lunch and place your order on your Family Portal page.

Tickets are now on sale for our upcoming production of Seussical the Musical taking place on January 28th and 29th. There are a limited number of seats available for each showing, so be sure to reserve yours soon. Head to www.faith-christian.org/musical and fill out the form to reserve your seats. Payment can be made after that using the PayPal button on the site or by paying in the office.
Tickets are $7/student and $12/adult.
There are a few props that are still needed. If you are able to loan any of the following items to the program, please contact Mrs. Meridith Allen (mallen@faith-christian.org).

7-12 grade schedules for next semester are now available on the Family Portal section of your FACTS account. Students have two weeks to make any changes to their schedules. Please see Mrs. Smith with any questions about your child's schedule

Here is the current sports game schedule. You can view this FCS Sports Google Calendar and add it to your phone's calendar app to stay up-to-date on game times, locations, and any updates. There is a tournament tentatively scheduled for March 3rd and 4th. We will share more details as they are confirmed.
