Hello Happy Horse Riders,

Here's the latest news:
Instructor's Training in Florida - What a Whirlwind trip packed with education and inspiration! It was really great to re-connect with Linda and the other Instructors and I was able to get some questions I had about the curriculum clarified. I had nice moments with Highland and Jazz when they each recognized me and came over to say "Hi" without prompting. Click Here for Photos
I look forward to sharing what I learned from this trip and the rest of the curriculum this upcoming clinic season. And speaking of that, I have started to map out the learning opportunities for you and your horse. Please contact me soon if you want to set a date for something that isn't on the schedule. This year, I have created clinic focus categories that are progressive from one clinic to the next.  I have also changed from 2-day to 3-day clinics so you can really settle into your learning and not feel so rushed.

My Christmas present to you: Download the Happy Horse Core Behaviors Progress Checklist: Click Here Track your progress!!

I have made an adjustment to our group name, formerly known as the Natural Horse Riders of Alberta or NHRA (AKA: National Hot Rod Association)
We are now the Happy Horse Riders of Alberta! You don't have to be following Linda's program to be a Happy Rider, Happy Horse is for everyone!!

I am still available to help with your Parelli Audition. I will video, coach, edit and send you a YouTube link, the cost is $100 per Savvy. Step #1, go to YouTube and search for Parelli Auditions that have passed for inspiration.

I will do virtual lessons with anyone who wants to send me a video, Cost is $25 for the first 10 minutes and $2 per minute after that. I will review your video and send back my thoughts to help you with any of your horsemanship struggles.

Weekend Winter Group lessons at Sartison's are Saturday and Sunday mornings, 11:00 am
I am teaching 2-hour group workshops at Sartison's, contact me if you are interested in hauling in as there is a limit on the number of trailers, auditing is free and there might be horses to borrow if you can't trailer. I can also travel to your barn if it is permitted, mileage may apply.
Click Here to see my calendar for Weekend 2-hour Workshops at Sartison’s Acres or contact me to arrange a private lesson.

You can add my google calendar to your own by clicking on the 3 lines in the top left corner of your own google calendar and typing in my email in the "add a calendar" section. This works better on a computer than on a phone or tablet.

News from Linda
Success Badges Program
Linda is adding a new levels and badge program to the Happy Horse Curriculum so students can chart their progress towards their goals. You will have the choice to self-assess or get an official certification in either basic or advanced skills. Also, you don't have to pass one level to advance to the next, you can test and achieve anywhere in the program that you like.
With the Happy Horse Success Badges, I am open and confident about what the future brings because this program helps people no matter their skill level or goals. No pressure unless you choose to seek it/ask for it. To me that’s respect and I can’t say how much I admire this.

We all deserve respect and love in this life. No matter what. I believe we are called to it.

YouTube channel
Linda has a YouTube channel! Get an inside look at the Happy Horse Happy Life Curriculum with Linda Parelli, and so much more!
Search: "Happy Horse Linda Parelli" or Click Here and subscribe.

Linda Parelli has spent the past 30 years teaching people how to have better horse-human relationships and had designed a curriculum that will help you solve problems and make progress in ways that you've never done before. Watch Linda, Click Here, as she explains how she put her new How to Talk Horse curriculum together. This is the heart of the program, pinpointing the key elements to put in place from core behaviors, quality, and performance. Happy Horse Happy Life delves deeper into areas of special interest like horse behavior, psychology, rider education, connection, equine gymnastics, and better riding, and is easily the most intimate access you'll ever have to Linda Parelli!
At its core, Linda's ten-module program gives you the keys for developing a happy horse and happy relationship starting with these three essential cornerstones: Connection, Relaxation, and Responsiveness.
It’s time to talk horse at a whole new level.

NHRA Mountain Trip 2022
Mountain and Trail experienced riders can join for all or part of the trip
Please read the details and check out the websites if you haven't been to these locations before. Email me if you have further questions about the trip. If our group is large, we will split into 2 groups (according to experience) except when we are guided at the Waldren Ranch. I will ride with the slower group and we will always ride according to the slowest member of each group as safety is our number one consideration. We haven't had an accident in the last 10 years of our trips but tricky and challenging experiences have and will come up. Horse boots or shoes are recommended and you should get your horse physically ready for this trip if you are riding for the entire experience. Accommodations are not available, you are either in a Camper, LQ trailer or a tent. Gravel Roads (that can sometimes suck) to Waldren, Honeymoon Creek and Indian Graves. Paved roads to SandyMcnabb and Blue Rock
