GGD Newsletter For January 1, 2022

Happy New Year! 

2021 was an absolutely amazing financial year for us! Out of 12 months, our investment portfolio experienced positive gains in 10 of them. This type of consistent growth is exactly what will help us reach our ultimate goal. After recording our year-end numbers, we found that we just barely missed the savings target we set for ourselves at the beginning of the year. Nonetheless, we're still super happy with the results. The fact that we got so close is really exciting! As an additional bonus, our total net worth increased by over 32% in 2021! At this point, we are definitely on track to reaching our dream of financial independence and early retirement and it feels great!

This year, let's all work hard to meet and/or exceed all of our goals!

Monthly Financial Update (Full Breakdown):
In December, we saw a 5.46% increase in our investment portfolio, which brings us up to 124.6% of our retirement number!
