Happy New Year! I trust that you had a restful school break and I hope you were able to enjoy making wonderful memories with your family.
As school is back in session again tomorrow morning, we are keeping a close eye on the Omicron variant of COVID and its rise in our community. We plan to continue with in-person learning, requiring masks for all students as previously indicated for the first two weeks of school.
It is super important that we all be alert to any possible exposure to COVID or any symptoms. If your student has been exposed to COVID in the last few days or has any of the symptoms listed here, please keep them home and contact the school office for instructions.
We recognize that the contagiousness of this variant, although less severe in its illness, means that it is more likely that we may encounter some in-school transmission of the virus. We are preparing to do what is necessary to keep our students moving forward academically through this wave. Please be watchful for any communication from your teachers or the school office.
