About this course
On 5 April 2018, the new Section 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (MACC Act 2009) was passed which introduces corporate liability on commercial organizations in Malaysia. The introduction of Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009, which took effect on 1 June 2020, enables commercial organizations and associated persons to be subjected to legal proceedings for corruption offences.
This seminar will introduce what corporate liability is under the MACC Act 2009 and includes what an Anti Bribery and Anti Corruption Policy is that may be implemented in companies.
The talk will be delivered over video conference using Zoom. You can either view the talk from your web browser or the Zoom app.
