This month we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King, Jr., an activist and leader of American civil rights movement who campaigned for racial equality in the United States. To honor his memory, January 17 is observed as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Make it a day on, not a day off by participating in this national day of service with Global Citizen and the Office of Community Relations (OCR).

This year, the OCR is encouraging all employees to support the CHOP community via Talent Mobility and responding to the critical need for COVID response staffing.
Other holidays in January include Makar Sankranti (1/14) World Religion Day (1/17), Republic Day of India (1/26), and The International Day of Commemoration (1/27) to remember victims of the Holocaust.
