NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Friendship Company
Beginning at 10 am on Sabbath January 15
Beginning at 10 am on Sabbath January 15 The Friendship Company (which meets in the Burman University gym) will offer NICE, a weekly 5-session series designed to promote authentic and healthy relationships. We live in a culture where “niceness” is prized. “Niceness” keeps the peace, wins friends, and gains influence but it also takes the power out of our faith, and the depth out of our relationships. When we choose to be “nice” instead of faithful and kind, we bear life fruits that are bland, shallow, phony, and empty. Find out how we can take practical, Biblical steps to reclaim our credibility as followers of Christ who bear beautiful, delicious, life-giving fruit. Check our YouTube Channel HERE

Waiting is Worth It!
Today I sit in my office thinking that Christmas is just a few weeks away. The time of year when the birth of Jesus is celebrated all over the world. It also means that family can get together and become reacquainted after some time apart.

How Timidity, Indecision,

Impact Your Life
https://issuu.com/abadventist/docs/aan-december-2021-issuu/s/14460570The Tortoise & The Hare
I recently watched the Youtube video of a tortoise racing a hare.1 It was impressive to watch the hare blast off and reach the halfway point on the track in just a few hops, while Ms. Tortoise had barely gotten off the starting line. But it was astounding to see the tortoise win the race. I've always heard the saying that "slow and steady wins the race."
