Remembering Nick Moll
We mourn with the family and friends of Calvin junior Nicholas Moll, who died on December 30 in his hometown of Visalia, California. A memorial service was held in Visalia last weekend, and we anticipate an on-campus memorial service later. Read the Calvin news story »

COVID Response Team update
Calvin will be implementing the latest CDC guidance on isolation and quarantine beginning January 31. At that time, students must have received a COVID-19 booster to be exempt from quarantine if exposed. Students are also encouraged to upgrade their daily mask to a N95, KN95, or KF94 mask. The campus is currently in a three-week pilot of offering optional surveillance testing at no cost to all vaccinated or unvaccinated students—testing that is optional and encouraged for all. See the Jan. 4 and Dec. 14 updates on the COVID Response communications page for details.
Apply for scholarships for 2022–23
Students can now apply for Calvin’s Named Scholarships for next school year; applications are due by January 31 at midnight. Students complete one application by which they are automatically considered for all relevant scholarships. Because some scholarships require financial need, students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA by January 15. Questions: finaid@calvin.edu.
Tax forms
At the end of January, U.S. students can download their 1098-T tax forms from their Self Service account. The 1098-T forms include fall 2021 and spring 2022 tuition. Canadian students may request tax form TL11A. Learn more about tax forms, and contact financial services (studentaccounts@calvin.edu) after January 31 with questions.
