Hello, friends! Did you hear my book Program Management for Open Source Projects is now available in beta? That means you can exchange your hard-earned dollars for DRM-free PDF, mobi, and epub files. Since it's in beta, it's not fully-written yet. So that means you get to tell me what sucks and then I fix it before it goes to the dead-tree version. (If you think I'm annoyingly self-promoting now, just wait until I can hold the book in my hands!) So if this sort of thing is interesting to you, saunter on over to my publisher's website.
To support the book and also provide a resource beyond the pages of my authoritative tome, I've launched a website. Duck Alignment Academy will hopefully be a resource for aspiring and practicing program managers the world over.
I am feeling a mixture of excitement and terror about this whole deal. On the one hand, it's really exciting to be at a point where people can actually start reading what I've been working on for the past year. On the other hand, people are going to read it. And then they'll probably tell me what they think about it. And now I'm obligated to make good progress on the remaining chapters so that my beta readers don't hate me for ripping them off. What a roller coaster of emotion!
