Hello Everyone,
We are excited to share with you all that we have applied and been accepted to Tanalian Bible Camp and Leadership Center in Port Alsworth, Alaska for long term placement. During our internship last summer we spent a month serving at Tanalian and truly fell in love with the camp, the kids, and the community of Port Alsworth. We are so excited to use the gifts God has given us to serve Him and His children in this unique context. Looking back on all the years of hard work, training, and preparation that has brought us here is truly humbling and we are overwhelmed with gratitude to those who have partnered with our ministry in prayer and financial support, and those who have invested in our training at CMA, SOAR, and MARC. We can look back and see the faithful guiding hand of God preparing us for and guiding us to this place, and the faithfulness and generosity of His people in helping us get here.

We have a very busy few months to come preparing for our roles at Tanalian as well as making the huge move to the Alaskan bush. Port Alsworth is a community off of the road system, which makes life more difficult and aviation a necessity. In addition to needing to raise additional monthly support to compensate for the higher cost of living, we need to build up a moving fund for the many one time expenses that will arise from moving to such a remote location. We are currently 68% of the way to our monthly recurring support goal, and 23% of the way to our one time moving expense fund goal. We have been enjoying our time in the lower 48 and loving the time we've been able to spend with friends and family here. We've been speaking at churches and small groups sharing about our ministry and have made some great connections and had great conversations. We love sharing what the Lord has done for us over the years and what He is doing in remote Alaska, so if you are interested in us speaking at your church or small group please reach out!
